Concepts in Art | In Action

The purpose of the initial consultation was to retrieve artwork the customer already had created by children. With each piece being unique in shape, size and color we carefully selected a frame color that pulled the overall design together. In the end, we decided to use different frame materials that complimented each piece individually.
We used image size to determine the need for mat boarding and/or acrylic covering. Another thing that made this project unique was all of the artwork was to be placed on a curved wall. Because of the curved wall it was critically important to make sure all of the measurements were precise so the pieces laid out to have a uniform and balanced gallery. This project was particularly special for me because the children’s art was so personal and unique to their style. I really felt connected to them and the space.
